Or how a book reflecting Cambodia's cultural heritage, edited and published by Templation Angkor Resort and Angkor Database in 2021 as a charity initiative, printed in Cambodia and distributed by volunteers, is now helping with its sales proceeds to fund scholarship in higher education.

The Samdech Rasmi Sobbhana Scholarship in cooperation with the Royal University of Fine Arts - សាកលវិទ្យាល័យភូមិន្ទវិចិត្រសិល្បៈ (RUFA) and the the Samdech Rasmi Sobbhana Women Foundation (SRSSWF) has been announced in October 2023.

Under the agreement approved by H.E. Dr. Heng Sophady, Rector of Royal University of Fine Arts, a 4-year scholarship will be granted to selected students for the completion of their higher studies in Arts (archaeology, architecture, visual arts) on RUFA Phnom Penh campus.

The funds provided to this program aimed at fostering higher education for younger Cambodian generations proceed exclusively from the sales of The Culinary Art of Cambodia. Grants will cover yearly academic fees and some living costs for students recommended by RUFA’s academic staff and approved by the Samdech Rasmi Sobbhana Scholarship Selection Committee. First installment of the program will benefit four students. While the promotion of women students is a priority -- in line with Princess Rasmi Sobbhana's lifelong commitment to girls' education, the scholarship is open to all applicants.

We are proud to honor the memory of HRH Princess Samdech Norodom Rasmi Sobbhana (1898-1971), great-aunt of HM King Norodom Sihamoni, herself a dedicated educationist who tirelessly worked for the promotion of young Cambodian women.
