Part of the commemorations of Kantha Bopha Children’s Hospitals 25th Anniversary, Templation Angkor and the Siem Reap Tourism Club (STC) held a networking event on November 25.
Aimed at raising funds for the Foundation established by legendary doctor Beat Richner under the high patronage of the King and Queen Mother of Cambodia, the social gathering at Templation Lounge was hosted by Cambodian TV celebrity Yok Chenda, and attended by nearly 200 invitees.
A raffle with prizes entered by many sponsors, a silent auction for artworks presented by different artists and the remarkable generosity of all guests in attendance allowed us to raise 10,000 USD for the hospitals where, each year, tens of thousands of children and mothers of Cambodia are taken care of each for free.
Earlier that month, Templation has hosted the opening of Hugs in Siem Reap, an exhibition of paintings and ceramic pieces by Singapore-based artist Victor Ang. Artwork can be seen and purchased at Templation and Siem Reap BrewPub. Most of sales proceeds are going to Kantha Bopha and Khmer Ceramics Arts Center.
